During her high-school years Chantelle attended Stage Artz Performing Arts School as part of a Trinity College High Distinction-winning troupe and was invited to perform in Malaysia. She later assisted at Just Jazz and Studio 24 in West Australia. She has also appeared in NRMA promotions, on Totally Wild, and in short films such as 13 and Inception.

Chantelle's make-up career began unexpectedly with a golden Cleopatra for the Canberra Festival of One Act Plays. A few years later she bodypainted dancers for WAAPA and PerthDance. She is a graduate of the Australian College Of Make-Up and Special Effects, and has been working with various dancers, circus troupes, cabarets, photographers, and other arts groups since.
