Kate Jirelle is an actress and writer currently based in Sydney, Australia. She has portrayed roles in several short films including the role of Pandora in 'The Tame Painter' - a multi-award-winning film produced by Travelling Circus Productions. Her portrayal of this character won her the 'Best International Supporting Actress' Award at Prodigy Film Festival. In May 2019, she was also voted as runner-up in the 'Most Promising Actress of the Month' competition run by Star Central Magazine.


In addition to her acting work, Kate is also a published author having written a collection of short stories entitled 'Behind Their Eyes', under the pen-name Kate-Michelle Von Riegen. She is also the co-founder of the production company Blue Poppy Productions, which she started with fellow actor and creative, Lawrence Ola.
